Tereza Samsonová

DSC_0248malyTereza Samsonová began her music studies in 1988 in Revnice school of music. Very early on, she participated in concerts with musical ensemble Ludus musicus in the Czech Republic and Germany (recorder, guitar, and singing). After finishing her degree in Musicology at the Charles University in Prague, she began to study with Marcel Ponseele in September 2003 and later baroque oboe with Michel Henry in the Conservatoire Nationale Supérieure de Musique de Paris, where she finished in 2007.
In 2006, Tereza became a pupil of Eric Bellocq in lute and basso continuo class, and for three years participated in various projects of the Department of Ancient Music. Since 2005, she has taken part in different master classes (E. Mascardi – Prachatice 2005, Jan Čižmář – Kelč 2008, L. Santana – Karlsruhe 2011) and continues to play with musical ensembles (Ensemble Actéon, Il Ritornello, Concerto Aventino and others). As an oboe player she has participated in many musical workshops (Michaelstein 2002, Karlsruhe 2003, Ambronay 2005 & 2006 dir. W. Christie & G. Garrido, 2007 Paříž dir. T. Koomman, EUBO 2007, Aix en Provence 2008 dir. W. Christie) and currently plays with different ensembles as Collegium 1704, Musica Florea, Capella Regia Praha, Collegium Marianum, Ensemble Inégal, Ensemble baroque de Nice, Ensemble Pygmalion, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Le Concert Spirituel, Les Paladins, Ensemble Almazis, and Europa Galante.
