Balázs Adorján

Balbalazs2ázs Adorján was born in Budapest in 1976. He studied Béla Bartók Conservatoire in Budapest, Music faculty of the Győr University and Limerick University in Ireland. Balázs won the Emila Vajda Competition for string instruments in Győr and has taken masterclasses with a number of distinguished cellists (Johannes Goritzki, Frans Helmerson, and others) and viol players (Hille Perl, Michael Brüssing, Marianne Muller, Christoph Urbanetz, Petr Wagner). Since 2000, he has lived in the Czech Republic. From the same year, he has been a member of PKF Prague Philharmonia, and is also a chamber player in many ensembles, such as Fama Q Quartett and the ensemble Prague Modern. As a viol player, he often plays with Motus Harmonicus.
